January 24, 2025 — As the final whistle echoed under the night sky, Sunram’s Third Cross-Department Football League concluded amidst cheers from the crowd. Team 1  claimed the championship trophy with a dominant 9-2 victory over Team 3, capping an undefeated campaign.

     Kicking off on January 4, four cross-departmental teams battled across four matchdays. The opening game ignited excitement as Team 1 and Team 2 delivered a goal-packed showdown. Team 1’s forwards broke through defenses with precise coordination, securing a 10-6 win that fueled their momentum. In subsequent round-robin matches, teams showcased diverse tactics—from ironclad defense to fluid attacks. After three intense rounds, Team 1 topped the standings with a flawless record, while Team 3 secured their finals spot with two wins and one loss.

     The championship clash between Team 1 and Team 3 became an instant classic. Team 1 struck first with a powerful long-range shot just three minutes in, then expanded their lead through seamless triangular passes.
